We are delighted with the response so far this season to our Wednesday Ladies Fourball Competition.

However, some points have been brought to our attention. We would now like to fully explain this competition.

1. It is for fun. It is not a qualifying competition therefore your handicap is not affected;

2. It is 9-hole Stableford competition. It is 4 ball better ball with 1 score to count on holes 1-8 and 2 to count on hole 9;

3. You may invite up to 3 guests and remember to add one point per guest to your card score;

4. The booking opens 15 days before each competition on a Tuesday Evening at 6:30pm;

5. After signing in with your partner at the computer you must pay €6 entrance fee in the Pro Shop regardless of whether you are a member or guest. Please let the Pro Shop know you are staying for dinner, 2 course dinner from €28.50 ahead.  We encourage all players to stay for dinner & prize-giving;

6. Results & prizes are announced 30 minutes after the last team finish;

7. Super Wednesdays are competitions sponsored by local businesses and always have terrific prizes. If there are any members or local businesses who would like to sponsor, please let us know;

This is a long-standing competition at Killiney. It is always well supported & we wish for this to continue and remain strong. What a lovely way to entertain your friends mid-week on a summer evening!

The Ladies Fourball Committee
