Gentlemen,

We are well into the “Turkey” competitions and weather permitting we are playing for the mini-hamper this Saturday (21st) followed by a Scotch Foursomes on Saturday 28th.  The first Saturday competition after the AGM, 5th December, will be the Mixed Hamper which goes live for online booking at 7pm tomorrow evening.  The Club Christmas dinner’s commence that evening and all members are encouraged play golf and enjoy great food and entertainment in the evening.

The final prize presentation of the season takes place this Saturday evening (21st), in the Club at 6.00pm.  We are presenting four regular competitions and the Club Matchplay Trophies.  All are invited to attend and celebrate the winners and the committee would appreciate if the sponsors and prize winners would wear a jacket. The prize presentation evenings have been a great success this year and we would like to thank John Waldron for all the work that he has done to make the nights run smoothly.  Please note that the Hampers and Scotch Foursomes prizes will be presented in December.

The Winter League is only a few weeks away and the start of a new season.  Many thanks for all the support during the year.  I wish Gordon well and I trust you will all give him the same support and encouragement during his year in office.
