PRO-AM 2023 (Sunday 10th September)

The 2023 Killiney Golf Club Invitational Pro-Am for the Gerry Charlton Memorial Cup will take place on Sunday September 10th. The event will be sponsored by Paul Phelan and Valerie Charlton, to whom we are very grateful and appreciate their support. The main details are as follows:
· There will be 2 shotgun starts, at 9.00am & 2.00pm.
· We are aiming to have 26 teams -13 in both the morning & afternoon sessions. Teams will consist of 1 Professional and 3 Amateurs. Teams will be open to Men, Ladies & Juniors. Maximum handicap index for Men is 28, Ladies 36. All players must have a Golf Ireland handicap.
· The format for the team prize will be Stableford, best 2 nett scores on each hole to count. Full handicap allowance.
· The format for the Professionals will be 18 holes strokes.
· The cost per team will be €450. However, there is an early bird offer of €400 for payment received by the Killiney GC Office on or before Friday 11th August.
· The event will be run by the Southern Branch of the Professional Golfers Association and the Pro-Am Sub Committee from Killiney Golf Club (Keith Bardon, Leo Hynes, Paul Phelan).
· The Professional Prize fund is still to be confirmed, but will be in the region of €10,000. There will be prizes for the leading 7 Amateur teams, as well as Nearest The Pin and Longest Drive prizes for Men and Ladies.
· There will be lunch provided for the morning players at 2.00pm approximately and dinner for the afternoon players at 7.30pm approximately.

Please see final Super and Mini Tuesday competitions and few remaining tee times and just one tee time left at 1.30pm for the Super Tuesday on the 15th August.
Please also note the regular Tuesday Invitation on the 22nd August is just nine holes with limited lines available due to the Killiney Invitation week.
