CLUBNET APP
As we are planning to introduce a New Dining Booking System in 2024 on the ClubNet App, we would encourage all members to download and use this App from 2024 onwards. So, If you have not already done so to date… Do yourself a huge favour and make your KGC Club life a lot easier and enjoyable by downloading and installing Clubnet Golf App to your smartphone. It has so many great features that you can access at your fingertips: Timesheet Booking, Score Entry, Your own Member Profile, Book a Lesson, Live Scoring to mention but a few. It will be your main port of call for everything KGC going forward.

HEALTH & SAFETY - KGC DEFIBRILLATOR
Staff Members and some club members had Defibrillator training yesterday. A few very important notes from the training for all members to be aware of are as follows:
The Club Defibrillator Machine is located just inside the Dining Room Entrance Door on the right hand side at Gerry's "office". If you are far out on the course and there is a need for it, please firstly call (or ask someone with you to call) an ambulance, then call the Bar and a member of staff or club member with training will bring the defibrillator to you to save valuable time. Do not panic if nobody in the vacinity has defibrillator training as the defibrillator machine will talk you through everything you need to know, clearly step by step, once you open the case. Important: You cannot harm anyone by using it (the machine will not let you shock anyone if it is not necessary), but you could save their life with it! Stay with the casualty and preform CPR, if you can, (to the beat of the song "Staying Alive") for 2 minutes then rest for 10 seconds and then start again and repeat until the defibrillator machine arrives (If you are with others, keep swapping over as this can be quite tiring if doing by yourself for a length of time), then follow the instructions of the defibrillator machine. Most importantly, stay calm and remember to call an ambulance in the first instance followed by calling the Bar to get the Defibrillator Machine. Hopefully it will never be needed but it is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it!
