Our 2nd Christmas dinner will be held on Saturday, December 14th and we are thrilled to offer a truly special experience!  Four professional Opera singers accompanied by a pianist will grace our dining room, performing a selection of Christmas and operatic melodies.  Their impressive bios can be see below for you to get a sense of their talent, along with a preview of award winning tenor Patrick Hyland.

This unique evening will be subsidized by the Social Golf Committee, bringing the cost to €62 per person.  As it is a one-of-a-kind event, members and their guests have the option to wear Black Tie for those who wish.

Opera Singers Biographies

Award-winning Irish tenor Patrick Hyland is a regular on the concert and operatic stage performing globally in venues including Glyndebourne, the Royal Albert Hall, BAM New York, National Opera House, Wexford, the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Having studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music under Veronica Dunne he has received widespread critical acclaim from leading global opera magazines Opera News, Opera Today and Opera, with the Irish Independent hailing his debut performance with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra as “exceptional”. As a finalist at the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition 2016 he was awarded the Dermot Troy Prize for the best Irish singer. He has performed lunchtime concerts with both the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra.

Aine Cassidy is a soprano from Warrenpoint. She is a first-class honours graduate of TU Dublin Conservatoire. Aine has performed with Irish National Opera, Lyric Opera Ireland and Blackwater Valley Opera Festival. Roles have included Clorinda (La Cenerentola) and the title role of Suor Angelica. She is also the conductor of several choirs around Dublin, including the Par Three Ensemble. 

Irish mezzo-soprano Sarah Luttrell is an honours graduate of the TUDublin Conservatoire and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where was is the recipient of the 'RCS Trust Postgraduate Scholarship'. Sarah has performed with Irish National Opera, Lyric Opera, Blackwater Valley Opera Festival and Northern Ireland Opera. She was a member of the Wexford Factory, the Young Artists programme at Wexford Festival Opera, and was formerly a member of Chamber Choir Ireland.

Maksym Lozovyi is a Ukrainian baritone, and a former soloist at the Kherson Philharmonic. He won second prize at the International Classical Competition in Rimini. Maksym performed the closing song at this year's Rose of Tralee. Maksym has worked with Irish National Opera since 2023.
