Dear Members,

As we move into autumn and the evenings are getting shorter as is customary we will be shifting to two sessions on Thursdays and Saturdays. For the month of October we will continue to run 18 hole singles competitions on these days. This opens an opportunity to create some 9 hole casual lines after the main 18 hole competitions on a Thursday and Saturday. These lines will commence around 4pm and finish approximately two hours before Sunset. They will decrease with the light each week.

The official 9 hole competitions will continue to run on Friday and Sunday as per the summer months. Booking for the casual lines will open at the same time as the 18 hole competitions. If you are booking into the 18 hole competition we would ask that you refrain from booking into a casual line on the alternate day for 72 hours to give those not wishing to play competition golf an equal opportunity to book.

We had a good response to the survey for which we thank all those that participated. We are working through all the data and hope to report back in October. One theme that was consistent was the view that unused pm slots should be available for casual golf and that has resulted in the above.

Regards
Timesheet Review Group.
