We had been expecting a busy day on the course with over 100 booked but the rain came and got heavier as the day progressed. Despite this, we still fielded 48 golfers including 18 guests.

Our thanks to Fearghal McEvatt of Tocana for his generous sponsorship. His guests captained by his son Christopher (no stranger to Killiney) produced the best round of the day with a very creditable 50 pts on a very wet course.

We were pleased to welcome Ron Greenly the Vice-Captain of Edmonstown who was a guest of Charlie Barry.

A consolation prize of Titleist ProV1 golf balls (presented by our Sponsor) was won by the team of Peter Bennett, Declan Ryan, David McNamara, and his father Gerry who plays his golf in Greystones but is a regular visitor to Killiney.
