As advised last Friday Golf Ireland has removed the restriction on holding internal competitions. As a result, your committees will start returning timesheets to as close to normal as possible from next week. Competition golf will be limited to 9 Holes next week. You may now book 18-hole games in the casual times if available. Please see below the list of competitions that will be available next week. Please note these must be played on an Arrive/Play/Depart basis.
Monday 17th Plummers 5pm -7pm (Timesheet opens 9.00 am Wednesday)
Tuesday 18th Ladies Glass 9am - 11am (Timesheet opens 7.15pm Wednesday)
Wednesday 19th Seniors 12pm -2pm (Timesheet opens 9.00 am Wednesday)
Thursday 20th Ladies 9 Hole Stableford Competition / Casual Golf (Timesheet opens 7.15 pm Wednesday)
Saturday 22nd Mens 9 Hole Stableford Competition / Casual Golf (Timesheet opens 8.00pm Thursday)
Sunday 23rd Springsomes Qualifying (9 Hole) / Casual Golf (Time sheet opens 8.00pm Thursday)
Casual golf will revert to being bookable up to 7 Days in advance from this Wed evening 9pm.
As we all know many events scheduled for April, May and June have had to be postponed. Your committees are working on rebuilding the diary and hopefully will be in touch in the coming weeks with the revised diary. Some dates however you may like to pencil in are as follows:
Saturday 29th May Challenge Cup Qualifying
Sunday 30th May Killiney Invitational Mixed Qualifying
Sunday 6th June Challenge Cup Round 1
Thurs 10th / Sat 12th June Presidents Prize Ladies / Men
Sunday 15th August Ladies Captains Prize Day 1.
Finally, your committees have decided to enter several Interclub matches this year. The first couple of rounds have very tight turnaround times so we will be reserving slots on Sunday 13th ,20th, and 27th June for Interclub matches. Like last year, we will also be reserving slots for internal matchplay matches on a daily basis.
