David Mc Namara wins the John Brunner Cup (as in Brunner Mond) at Chemical Trades Golf Society annual tournament at Royal Liverpool, Hoylake.

The society is the oldest golf society in the world.

100 contenders. David is the 111th champion scoring 39 points (12 H/C), 5 points ahead of the field.
