What a result in the Barton Cup yesterday against Woodbrook!

It was a delight to see Cian O Sullivan's  second shot on the Par 5 15th hole end up 5 feet away for a conceded eagle to win their match.

I was greatly impressed with young Samuel Inglis, who at 13 years of age played so well under mounting pressure.

Well done to Keith for such a mature performance alongside Samuel. I am glad that George O'Connell, our manager extraordinaire, could not find Brian McCarthy in a Dalkey pub on Saturday night !! Fantastic performance Brian, who won 6/4 in Woodbrook playing with James Baily.

I should not be picking out anyone in particular as it was a fantastic team and management performance. We can beat anyone.

Belief belief  ! What a day.
