The final Tuesday Fourball event of the year was our annual bring a bottle day, so everyone gets a prize. 54 members played golf in lovely conditions. Many thanks to Mike Browne and his team for presenting the course to such a high standard, especially after the recent weather.

Congratulations to Dermot McCarthy who playing off a handicap of 2 scored 21 points over 9 holes in a round that had 2 birdies - well played.

Captain John Waldron was on hand to present the prizes and to officially welcome the new committee. The prize-giving ceremony for the bring-a-bottle contingent was conducted by Gavin and Jason and provided a lot of entertainment and humour.

A special thanks to Alan, Gerry, and his team for a wonderful meal and a big thank you to John and Neil for providing such wonderful bar service.

The retiring committee of Don O' Shaugnessy, Ronan King, and Brendan Conway thank all our members for the great support they received during their tenure and wished the incoming committee every success for the new season.
