Following a mild December we have hollow cored the greens and placed a top dressing of sand on Wednesday last. A second coring and top dressing will be done on Monday.

This double coring was a resounding success in 2016 resulting in excellent putting surfaces right up to Christmas.

In fact a number of our neighbouring courses have visited during the year and are now instigating a similar programme in 2017.

With a little help from nature and the excellent work of our green keeping staff we can look forward to the same for 2017.
