A few improvements have been made to the website.

Calendar

The club Calendar has been removed from the homepage. The public no longer have access to the club's calendar.

When you log in the calendar will display, as normal, on your personal homepage.

Did you know, if you use a smartphone or tablet, or Microsoft Outlook, you can subscribe to individual diaries? The club diary will pop up on your phone. Only the diaries you subscribe to (Men, Ladies, Social, Teams, etc.) will sync with your device. Click View Full Diary from your homepage. The Sync Calendar connections are on the left hand side of the page.  Follow the instructions on screen.

Teams and Juniors

Team news and results and Juniors news and results now have dedicated display panels on the Members' Homepage. Currently, only the latest posting under Juniors and Teams display in the panel. 

Everything is now on your homepage when you log in, so Team and Junior news and results should be much easier to find. 

Photo captions

Thanks to Paraic Lavelle all 2017 images have captions. Captions will display by default. This really is a major breakthrough. It was a big job. It certainly wasn't trivial. For example, the photographic album for the 2017 Captain's Drive-In contains 205 photographs. To find the album, select The Club > Photo and Media Archive > 2017 > Captains' Drive-In.

You'll see the benefit of this when a search function is added to the 2017 suite of photographs. You will see the Search this within the next few days. Search works on the captions. Type a name into the search box, and the relevant image or images will pop up. This is a significant enhancement to our website. It beats ploughing through hundreds of photos looking for a specific image.

And, if you spot an error or a misspell, please don't let it fester. Send us an email or text message with the details and it will be fixed.
