This was our last Super Tuesday of 2019 season and we were blessed with nice weather. There was a strong field of 76 taking part in the competition. We were honoured to have the Australian Ambassador among our 30 guests. Guests came from the following clubs:-
Foxrock, Corrstown, Edmonstown, Rathfarnham, Delgany, Powerscourt, Druids Glen, Dun Laoghaire, Castle, Palmerstown, Millicent, Hermitage, Lahinch, Elm Park, Woodbrook, Greystones, Hibernian, Rathsallagh, Carrickmines and international guests from Spanish Wells Florida, and Royal Canberra.
Prizes for the competition were kindly sponsored by the Plummers who had the temerity to win the prize for the last hole! Captain Brendan Barrett presented prizes to a packed dining room and paid warm tribute to our Bloom Cup team who won this long-awaited trophy last Sunday.
The Tuesday Committee would like to add our congratulations to our Bloom cup colleagues and also to thank our fellow members for the wonderful support we have enjoyed for our Super Tuesday Competitions this season - it has been great fun.
