Dear Members,
Further to the Government Announcement last night, we are delighted to announce that the golf course, practice ground, and pro-shop, and lockers will re-open on Tuesday 1st December. It has been a long six weeks for us and we know you are all very much looking forward to getting back out on the course again.
- Timesheets for next week will go live at 5.00pm on this Sunday evening for Tuesday 1st – Friday 4th inclusive.
- We will recommence with casual golf for 9 holes only on each day.
- Play will be in 4balls at 10min intervals.
- Initially and in order to give all members a fair chance you will be allowed to book one game in the four day slot. Depending on take up you will be allowed to book a second game from 5.00 pm on Monday evening. We ask that all members respect the timesheets and do not book more than one game initially. Waiting lists were a significant issue prior to lockdown and we want to facilitate all members looking to play. There is a no guest policy until further notice.
- We are proposing to hold the mixed hamper competition the weekend of 5th/6th December. The mixed committee will issue a communication on this on Monday 30th November. - Timesheet activity will be closely monitored and we will update on the format to apply from the 7th December on Wednesday 2nd December.

Unfortunately, our members who live outside the county will not be able to return to the club until Friday 18th December but we continue to have a reciprocal arrangement with Delgany Golf Club. If you wish to book a tee time in Delgany please call Niall in the office.
The bar and restaurant will remain closed until Friday 4th December. It is still unclear what additional restrictions may be in place for indoor dining and a further communication on this will be distributed early next week. Meanwhile, members are reminded to leave straight after their round and not loiter around the clubhouse or car park. We attach Golf Ireland's Covid Guidelines which the Club will be implementing.
