Due to poor weather conditions, the Captain's Prize scheduled to be played on Saturday September 3rd was cancelled. The new date for the Captain's Prize is Saturday September 17th. The new arrangements for the Captain's Prize are set out below.
1. TIMESHEET. The original timesheet as drawn up after the Qualifying Round will be used for the Captain's Prize. Some of the times in the second and third session have been brought forward due to the shorter amount of daylight. Everyone who originally qualified should by now have received an e-mail advising them of their new time for September 17th, A copy of the timesheet is also available to view on the Killiney GC website.
2. CANCELLATIONS: Naturally there will be people who, having qualified, will be unable to play on September 17th, As before, the cancellation procedure is to contact Keith Bardon at (087) 2536893. Those on the Waiting List will be put into the main draw as cancellation notifications are received.

4. SLOW PLAY. We will be playing Ready Golf on every Saturday from now on, including the Captain's Prize. There are notices in the Clubhouse advising on Ready Golf, please can everybody make themselves familiar with the procedures. We will have ball spotters on the day as well, which will hopefully make sure that everyone completes their round in daylight.
5. PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. The Captain's Prize will be presented on the evening of Saturday September 17th. We hope to hold the prizegiving at 8.45pm. Please can as many of those who play on the day return that evening. We will have food and drink available as usual on prize presentation evenings.
Thank you to everyone for their patience and understanding. In particular, many thanks to Gordon, who despite all the uncertainty yesterday remained calm and assured. We will have a great day for him in 2 weeks time
6. GOLFER OF THE YEAR. Due to the rescheduling of the Captain's Prize, the Golfer Of The Year will now end on Captain's Prize day, September 17th. The full leaderboard is available to view on the website in the Master Scoreboard area.
