Dear Members,

What a wonderful “Club” day we had on the 17th April to show our support to the family of Roger Farrell. The total amount raised was €16,500. This money will be donated in the form of an Educational Bursary for Roger’s children who are finishing secondary school and entering college.

We had a full time sheet on the day and approximately 180 people for dinner.

The Club would like to thank all those who volunteered their time in organising the day and in particular to Matt Campbell, Michael Purcell and the Mixed Committee.

Many thanks also to all the Staff in the Bar and the Catering Department who gave of their time freely and made the day so special.
